Hi everyone!

It is beautiful outside today. The sun is shining and it’s supposed to be 60 degrees out there. I think I’ll go play with my ponies!

I’m sorry I don’t feel up to writing a post for you right now… perhaps later this evening I will spin something out for you!

If you like, you can read some of these poems I have written:

Do You Remember?

In this love poem I reminisced on the past year and all that I have been through since last fall. My husband proposed to me last fall, we planned the wedding in a blur of months, and were married in July. This poem makes me smile as I recall the days of the past. I look forward to the future and what it will bring. 🙂

I Got Enough

This is a song/poem about loving what you have. We might not have all the money we want or the fancy material things everyone thinks is cool, but there is plenty in life to cherish. Look at what you have in life and be thankful for it.

Check out this poem, it is beautiful and inspirational.

Solid Ground

Sometimes you need a pick-me-up. This poem (or possibly song!) aims to do just that! It tries to get you to keep your head up and be proud of what you have. You should totally check it out, it is very uplifting!

No Money, No Worries

Here is a poem that reflects on times during a hard financial situation. We have all been there at some point in our lives! After a while, you learn that life is about the things you have, not the money you do not have. It can be a hard lesson to learn, but it is important to realize that you can be happy and broke.

Check out this recent poem!

Small Town Proud

Here is a poem that could easily be set to a great country tune as a song. This is how I grew up! I could not imagine life any other way. It talks about life in a small town and stresses that little towns are proud. 🙂 Check out the link to read the song!

My Attempt at a Love Poem Where The Title is Unnecessarily Long But Hopefully Will Not Disappoint The Reader

This poem was written to reflect that nervous feeling you get when you finally discover that you really love someone. How do you tell them for the first time? Why are the words, “I love you” so scary? We often feel jittery, nervous, have the butterflies, or what have you. We wonder if the feeling of love is mutual, or if we are jumping in to quickly. This poem personifies those feelings, those deep inner desires and thoughts, that we all feel before we tell our significant other that we love them for the very first time.

Flow

A sweet love poem that compares love to an ocean. If you think about it, love is a lot like the ocean. There is a lot of give and take, or ebb and flow, not to mention the raw beauty of both. It is a beautifully simple poem. Have a read, you won’t be disappointed!

Closer

Another love poem…this one depicts the journey and struggles we must endure in order to fine our true love.

Sweeter Still

Here is a more abstract poem. The meaning is kind of obscure, but it basically has to do with unity and love. Two forked paths that lead to one symbolizes two people who join as one, together.
