Who Needs Sleep? Meh…
Who needs to sleep, anyway?
I don’t really need very much sleep. I’m just a much nicer person if I get some sleep! 😉
My Mom told me she used to pray that I would go to sleep when I was a baby.
Insomnia is my ailment. Often times I cannot sleep even if I am exhausted. I used to read all night until I would fall asleep when I was a kid. As I got older I just stayed up all night.
I’ve been able to function efficiently on only a couple of hours of sleep. The past few days I’ve been getting over some kind of winter funk, so sleep has been my friend. However, usually I don’t really sleep all that much–or that well. I tend to wake easily and have very vivid dreams.
When it’s time to go to sleep I just lay there thinking…and thinking. What do I have to do tomorrow? How can I make more money from home? I need to call so-and-so… I’ll think of cool things to draw or fun stories. Sometimes it backfires and makes me even more awake, other times I bore myself to sleep with my own thoughts. Hahah.
Although sometimes I am tired during the day, I have my coffee to help me get by. I’m just used to living this way I guess.
My sister is an insomniac too. I guess it runs in the family! 😉 Do you have trouble sleeping? Or do you need at least 8 hours to function?
