Earthquakes Have Happened in Virginia Since Colonial Times | Scienceray

After all the hype about the earthquake in Virginia, many of us wondered why we were having earthquakes all of a sudden. The purpose of this article is to prove that these quakes are not suddenly occurring, we have documented proof of earthquakes occurring in the Commonwealth from the late 1700’s. That is colonial time, people! These earthquakes were documented prior to common knowledge of these events, much less the common day Richter Scale.
