Untitled 2008 Poem

There was a time before this time

When the world was dark and cold

But suddenly the clock unwinds

And away the darkness folds

Reality she knows and dreams believed

Sunshine shivers off the cold

She cleaves from those who once deceived

Beams of light break through the mold

Now her mind begins to wander

Towards something new and right

Each stroke of the clock makes her fonder

Every gesture given and received brings delight

Follow through the intrigue

The light up there ahead

Leave the past to bleed

Here comes your Lady in Red

I come to you as me, just me

Me you fascinate

I take you for who you be

The interest simply feels innate

Here’s a new reason

To love the shift of seasons
